A mansion
A labyrinth of sleeping ghosts

You walk with me by candlelight
taking my hand when I forget my way

We wander down hallways
Deeper into darkness than I’ve ever been alone

You bring me to sunshine
To fresh air and crystal dew drops
A grassy garden of us
Together

We walk in circles
I feel at ease

You cut bouquets from thorny rose bushes
You show me butterflies lay in wait
amid my wilderness of abandoned leaves

You are the most beautiful rose my garden has ever grown

Fragility glows within the shadows of your pain
I want to water you with safety
To bring you to light

I’ll nourish you and bloom with you

We’ll blossom into more
